This Saturday, when Richmond takes on the Swans at the MCG, Tom Lynch will hit 100 games in the yellow and black jumper after six seasons with the Club.

The key forward has been a pillar for the side's forward line since he came to Richmond from the Gold Coast Suns in 2019, booting a huge 223 goals during his tenure.

In his first year at Richmond, Lynch played a pivotal role in the side's 2019 premiership, kicking 63 goals for the season, placing third in the overall Coleman Medal race.

To cap off an incredible debut season with the Tigers, Lynch finished fifth in the Club's best and fairest count.

The following year, in 2020, Lynch went on to win his second flag in his first two seasons with Richmond, having another successful run up forward where he slotted a further 32 goals.

In 2022, Lynch had one of his most fruitful seasons in the yellow and black, taking home the Club’s most prestigious accolade, the Jack Dyer Medal. Lynch polled a total of 60 votes that year in the best and fairest to beat Daniel Rioli, who came in second place with 59 votes.

In the same year, Lynch was ranked number one in the competition for goals per game, contested marks and number two for marks inside-50.

Before joining Richmond, Lynch was first drafted by the Suns with the 11th overall pick in the 2010 draft.

He went on to make his AFL debut in Round 7 of 2011, kicking two goals with 17 disposals, to solidify himself at the elite level.

Over a decade later, Lynch has become one of the most decorated forwards in the competition, earning himself an All-Australian selection in 2016.

Now, the 31-year-old remains an important figure at Tigerland, acting as a leader for the current crop of young Tiger forwards.

Join us at the MCG tomorrow to cheer on Lynch in his 100th Richmond game as the side takes on the Swans from 1:20pm. Purchase tickets here.
