Third quarters have been Richmond’s best up to the mid-season bye.

The Tigers have won five and drawn one of their third terms in the 13 games they’ve played.

That just shades the team’s number of second and fourth quarters won, which is five apiece.

First quarters have been Richmond’s worst so far this season, winning just four of them, although two of those wins came in the past two games, against Greater Western Sydney at ENGIE Stadium (Round 12) and in last Saturday’s clash with Sydney at the MCG.

The Tigers’ overall highest scoring quarter was in their narrow loss to the Giants, when they kicked 6.5 in the opening term.

Their best second quarter was 4.3 v West Coast in Round 9 at the MCG, best third quarter was 6.1 v Gold Coast, Round 6, Marvel Stadium, and best fourth quarter was 4.4 v Brisbane, Round 4, MCG.
