Monique Conti says Richmond’s AFLW team is “honoured” to proudly wear the same Dreamtime guernsey that the AFL team wore earlier this year.

The guernsey, which has been designed by the Mansell family, Clyde, Brett, and AFL player Rhyan, tells their story and the story of their Country, lumaranatana down to larapuna. Click here to read the full story behind the guernsey.

The Tigers’ AFL side wore the guernsey at Dreamtime at the ‘G in May, with the AFLW squad to wear it this Friday night for Dreamtime in Darwin.

Speaking at the 2025 AFLW Indigenous Round Launch, Conti spoke about the significance of the round, describing it as “special”.

“It is a great opportunity to go up there and play a Dreamtime game in Darwin,” Conti said.

“For the young Indigenous girls up there to see that we are playing at the top level, and that hopefully one day believe that they can do that as well, because they are seeing us do it.”

Conti added there’s no better occasion for Richmond to record its first win of the season, after starting the campaign 0-2.

“We are keen to show everyone what we can do finally,” she said.

“There's nothing like a five-day turnaround. It’s a good opportunity to get back out there and have a great game against the Bombers in a special round.”
