Richmond's inside midfielder and half forward Harry Scott has put pen to paper, committing to the VFL program for the 2026 season.

It's an exciting recommitment for both the 20-year-old and the Club, after Scott stood tall in just his second year at the helm in 2025.

Now with 26 games under his belt, Scott has established himself as a key pillar in and around the ball, competing in 17 home-and-away games, as well as the Wildcard and Elimination finals this season.

Scott was also recognised in the top five of the VFL's Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal, celebrating the competition's best young players this season.

He starred across the board this season, but particularly stood out in Round 15 against Geelong, when he collected 29 disposals and kicked a stellar goal to win the match for Richmond late in the fourth term.

He also collected 28 touches in Richmond's Wildcard Final win over GWS, and 27 disposals against Footscray in Round 13.

The inside midfielder/half forward averaged 21 disposals across 19 matches, also kicking seven goals this year.

The brave move to get Scott on the ball, which in turn has propelled him forward, has allowed him to flourish into a young leader the Tigers needed this season.
