The curtain is set to be pulled back like never before at Richmond, with its pre-season documentary, ALL IN, to provide fans with an unfiltered look at what it takes to be an elite AFL athlete.

ALL IN will follow four key members of the Tigers – young sensation Sam Lalor, dual Jack Dyer Medallist Tim Taranto, emerging leader Jack Ross, and pro basketballer turned footballer Oliver Hayes-Brown – throughout the pre-season for an inside look at their lives and what gives them their ‘why’ both on and off the field.

The behind-the-scenes documentary will premiere at Richmond’s 2026 Season Launch at The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne on Monday, February 23. Fans can purchase tickets here.

Sam Lalor and Tim Taranto in ALL IN

Former Vic Metro Captain, Ross, has played 93 games at senior level and continues to establish himself as an integral part of Richmond’s present and future.

Ross was a consistent contributor to the Tigers in 2025, guiding the Richmond youngsters in the middle of the ground.

ALL IN will chronicle how Ross prepares his body and mind for a gruelling AFL season, including how he disconnects from the football grind.

“I think the reason I played a lot of footy (in 2025) was because I did switch off and I didn't burn myself out, and that balance is a massive part of performing,” Ross told ALL IN.

“Learning when to switch it off and just chill, let your body reset, do things outside of football. I'll try and get out of the house as much as I can or stay away from the club as long as I can on days off.

“If there is a break, a Christmas break and things like that, I'll try and just pull back a little bit, do all the training that I need to do, but also just get some fresh air and spend some time with friends and family.”

Jack Ross in ALL IN

ALL IN will also explore Ross’ leadership journey, as he grows into his role as an important figure at the Club.

“Playing any sport when I was little, I always really liked (the leadership) side of things, and my leadership style has changed a little bit,” Ross said.

“I never used to speak, I was really introverted when I was growing up and playing juniors, so I'd kind of just go out there and play and let that kind of sort itself out.

“Now I've found my voice, and I'm really comfortable with who I am as a person, but also as a football player.

“I find myself doing it more and more, which has been good, but I'm still on a journey to try and get even better at that, so I'll try and do that again in ‘26.

“I’ve really enjoyed being in the emerging leadership group with a few of the other guys who are at that 24–25-year-old mark…we can be the bridge that connects the young and the older guys, which is really nice.

“I think it's happened naturally, just trying to fast track those guys as much as possible, and we've brought in so much top end young talent now that I find myself learning so much from them as well.”

Oliver Hayes-Brown and Ivan Maric in ALL IN

When it comes to the traditional football pathway, Hayes-Brown’s journey has been anything but.

The former basketballer played college basketball with UC Riverside in California before joining NBL powerhouse the Perth Wildcats in 2021.

In 2023, Hayes-Brown walked away from the sport he had made it professionally in to pursue an unlikely career in football with Richmond.

Originally applying his craft for Ivanhoe, the 208cm ruckman has become a dominant force in the VFL, coming close to earning his spot at AFL level in 2025.

ALL IN tracks Hayes-Brown’s footballing development while also diving into his emotional family story, revealing the beautiful reasons why he plays professional sport.

Adem Yze in ALL IN

Taken with the number one pick in the 2024 AFL Draft, Lalor experienced the highs and lows of the AFL in his first season.

Growing up in Bacchus Marsh, Lalor lived up to lofty expectations by being nominated for the AFL’s Rising Star in Round 1. However, injury hit the lively midfielder/forward in his debut season, limiting him to just 11 games.

The off-season is a chance to reset and refresh for Lalor, powering into a big 2026 campaign.

ALL IN explores his musical talents, what makes him tick away from footy and how he is readying himself for his first season in the famed No. 4 guernsey.

Tim Taranto in ALL IN

Taranto enters his fourth year as a Tiger in 2026, coming off a career-best 2025 which saw him poll 20 Brownlow votes and win his second Jack Dyer Medal.

Taranto’s presence both on and off the field has been an indispensable asset for the Tigers over the past couple of years, with the star midfielder now a member of the leadership group.

ALL IN gives an exclusive look at Taranto’s intricate preparations ahead of the 2026 season.
