Nick Guiney and Austin Johnson, two of Richmond VFL's mainstays, have committed to another season in the yellow and black.
Guiney, who has now played 36 games for Richmond, with 12 of those coming last season, has locked down his role as a leader in the side.
Entering his fifth year in the VFL program, the half back/winger, who also plays as an inside midfielder, proved his versatility when required last season.
The 23-year-old, who stands at 187cm, collected a season-high 16 disposals twice last year, against the Lions in Round 3 and Northern Bullants in Round 14, having impact with ball in hand when needed across the backline as well and in-and-around the contest.
He offers flexibility across multiple positions and is a valuable contributor to the team, with expectations on his leadership abilities this year.
Johnson has also cemented his spot in the side, with 59 matches in the yellow and black to his name.
He signs on after playing 16 matches last season, with the winger/half back man becoming a key cog during Richmond's run to the elimination final against Brisbane.
The 24-year-old is entering his fifth year in the program, and is a reliable and vital winger whose athleticism continues to improve.
His compliance across half back helps the ball travelling seamlessly into attacking 50, as Johnson works to lead the defenders to transition the ball with conviction.
A strong contest player, sharp decision maker and confident ball mover, Johnson will continue to build on his form and leadership in 2026.
Richmond now looks ahead to its Round 1 clash against Southport at Kinetic Stadium, Frankston on Saturday 21st March.
Before their first game of the 2026 season, the VFL side will compete in four practice matches across February and March.
