Richmond will face the Southport Sharks in Round 1 of the 2026 VFL season on Saturday, March 21.
Scheduled for 12:05pm at Kinetic Stadium in Frankston, the Tigers and Sharks meet just before Richmond's AFL side hosts the Gold Coast Suns at the MCG at 1:15pm on the same day.
It's a blockbuster fixture for Jack Madgen's first game in charge, with both sides coming off September campaigns last year.
The Tigers recorded a thrilling wildcard final win over GWS last season before falling to Brisbane in the elimination final, while Southport lost to Footscray in the Grand Final by just 10 points.
