Richmond is pleased to announce that Edward Bostock will be joining the Richmond Board, filling the casual position created by Dr Andrew Peters' decision to retire from the Board after completing a three-year term.
Bostock has been recommended to the Board by the Club's nominations committee, with the Board accepting that recommendation.
He has more than 20 years of executive, investment, and Board experience in Australia and has had a successful career in private equity working with leading domestic and international firms.
Bostock is currently Managing Partner at Anchorage Capital Partners and has previously been Chief Financial Officer at Wesfarmers Health and, for 10 years, a Director at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).
He is also a Non-Executive Director at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
Richmond President, John O’Rourke, welcomed Bostock to the Board.
“We are delighted to have someone of Ed’s experience and knowledge join our Board,” O’Rourke said.
“He has displayed operational excellence as an Executive Leader and has significant board experience across a broad range of sectors, reaching back two decades.
“His passion for Richmond is, of course, also profound, and we are thrilled that the Club will benefit from his expertise going forward, particularly as we undertake a pivotal stage of our Club’s history with the funding of the Punt Road Oval Redevelopment.
"Ed will also provide valuable input as we seek new growth opportunities in our commercial businesses and community programs.”
O’Rourke added thanks for Dr Andrew Peters and his time on the Board.
“We thank Andrew for his time and efforts during his three years as a director and are grateful for his contribution,” O’Rourke said.
Bostock said that he was truly grateful and humbled to be given the opportunity to serve the Club as a Director alongside an esteemed Board.
“I have been a passionate supporter of the Tigers all my life and I look forward to channelling that energy into my new role,” he added.
