Richmond has announced its extended squad ahead of the Gather Round clash against GWS this Sunday in the Barossa Valley.

The additions are headlined by ruckman Oliver Hayes-Brown, who will make his debut following a strong start to his 2026 VFL campaign.

Hayes-Brown, who stands at 208cm tall, has been with the Club for three seasons, joining as a Category B rookie after leaving behind his basketball career.

He has been promising at VFL level, namely nabbing 10 clearances, 23 disposals and 19 hitouts against St Kilda last weekend.

Hayes-Brown is joined by Noah Balta, Patrick Retschko and Zane Peucker as the additions to the extended squad who will travel to South Australia. Samson Ryan (suspension) is out of the side.

The final team will be named on Friday at 5pm (AEST).

The backline will be made up of Nick Vlastuin, Ben Miller, Balta, Nathan Broad, Jayden Short and Sam Grlj.

Sam Banks, Dion Prestia and Tyler Sonsie make up the centreline. Hayes-Brown takes the spot in the ruck, alongside followers Tim Taranto and Sam Lalor.

Seth Campbell, Jack Ross, Steely Green, Jonty Faull, Liam Fawcett and Mykelti Lefau make up the forward line.

The extended interchange is made up of Tom Brown, Luke Trainor, Maurice Rioli, Campbell Gray, Jacob Hopper, Kane McAuliffe, Peucker and Retschko.

The final team will be announced on Friday at 5pm (AEST) on richmondfc.com.au.

Richmond takes on GWS this Sunday from 3.15pm (AEST), 2.45pm local time, in the Barossa Valley as part of the AFL’s Gather Round.
