Oliver Hayes-Brown is set to create history at Richmond when he makes his AFL debut in Sunday’s Gather Round match against Greater Western Sydney in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.
Hayes-Brown will become the tallest player to represent the Tigers at senior level in the Club’s entire history.
At 208cm, the giant ruckman is two centimetres taller than current teammate Samson Ryan and former Tiger (and ex-Swan) Sam Naismith.
And he is a whole lot taller than the four ruckmen who were selected in Richmond’s Team of the Century – Jack Dyer, Bill Morris, Roy Wright and Michael Green.
Dyer’s playing height was 185cm, Morris 188cm, Wright 188cm and Green 193cm.
