Richmond coach Adem Yze has committed to giving more youngsters the opportunity to find their feet through the midfield against GWS and beyond.
Draftee Sam Grlj, who has already played all four games of the season in his debut year, has been run through the middle a handful of times already.
And there will be even more midfield minutes for the up and coming Tiger cubs, like Grlj, over the coming weeks.
"We want to give exposure...to our younger players, to speed," Yze said on Thursday.
Yze also wants to see his small forwards utilise their burst running and elite speed to crack into the midfield.
"Sam Grlj got some opportunity last week, Seth Campbell has had a couple [of centre bounce attendances] this year. That will grow, Maurice Rioli will get an opportunity through there as well," he said.
"We're always looking at that mix, we don't want to leave it [the midfield load] to too few.
"We will hopefully give them some more exposure to that on the weekend."
Richmond takes on GWS this Sunday from 3.15pm (AEST), 2.45pm local time, in the Barossa Valley as part of the AFL’s Gather Round.
