RICHMOND star Jack Riewoldt has won his third Coleman Medal after North Melbourne's Ben Brown couldn't overtake the Tigers spearhead in the last game of the regular season.

Brown led the race for the goalkicking award for much of the season, but a superb 10-goal effort from Riewoldt in a big round 21 win over Gold Coast proved pivotal.

Riewoldt played 22 games this season and was held goalless just twice - in a loss to Adelaide in round two and a round 10 win over St Kilda when he was concussed in the opening minutes.

The Tigers star finished with 65 goals during the home and away rounds, four clear of second-placed Brown.

Cat Tom Hawkins finished in third on 58 goals ahead of Swans superstar Lance Franklin (57) and Hawks sharpshooter Luke Breust (53).
