The MCC created a dedicated  Accessibility Gate at the MCG and now, thanks to support from NSB Cyber, we’re able to open this gate at all Richmond MCG home games in 2026.

Accessibility is fundamental to who Richmond is as a Club. Every member of the Tiger Army, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance, has the right to feel welcome, respected and able to fully participate in game day. 

The Accessibility Gate is a vital part of creating an inclusive environment where everyone can belong and share in the experience of Richmond.

For many supporters, attending a game isn’t just about getting a ticket, it’s about whether the environment works for them. Barriers can be physical, sensory, or even uncertainty about access. 

When those barriers are removed, access is improved, and the game opens up so more people can connect, engage and feel part of the Richmond community.

The Accessibility Gate helps make game day more seamless and more welcoming.

Accessibility Gate entry thanks to NSB Cyber and the MCC

Richmond Football Club has partnered with NSB Cyber and the MCC to provide fans with an accessible alternative way to enter the MCG on Richmond match days.

Richmond is proud to support this initiative and we thank NSB Cyber for their contribution to provide fans with an accessible alternative way to enter the MCG on Richmond match days.

It provides a dedicated entry point that’s designed with ease, clarity, and comfort in mind, while also reducing wait times, minimising stress, and creating a smoother arrival experience. 

It means supporters can focus on enjoying the match, not navigating challenges just to get in.

"We’re grateful to the MCC that they have created the Accessibility Gate. Thanks also to NSB Cyber for helping to fund the cost of operations to make sure the gate is accessible for every Richmond home game at the MCG for the rest of the season,” Richmond CEO, Shane Dunne, said.

"At NSB Cyber, we talk a lot about confidence, helping people feel safer, calmer and more in control. That is why this initiative has really resonated with us,” NSB Cyber Head of Brand and Marketing, Catherine Porquier, said.

This gate will be located at Gate 3B (to the left of Gate 3) and can be used by all patrons with accessibility needs, including hidden disabilities.
