Reliable Richmond defender Ben Miller has further committed to the Club, signing a two-year contract extension through to the end of 2029.
Miller, who had an existing contract for 2027, has not missed a game for the Tigers over the past two seasons, holding down a key role in defence.
The 195cm West Australian has now played 85 games at senior level and has continued with the form that saw him finish fourth in last year’s Jack Dyer Medal.
Miller is averaging career highs in disposals and marks this season and ranks #1 at Richmond for one-percenters, #2 for marks, and #6 for both kicks and intercepts.
The key defender is also a clear number one for time on ground this year, as he has been for the past three seasons.
Miller, who is in his ninth year at the Club, also has strong leadership characteristics and is an important voice on and off the field for his younger teammates.
Richmond General Manager- Football Talent, Blair Hartley, said that Miller continued to perform at a high level.
“Ben is a great leader for us who is playing consistent football,” he said.
“He has worked very hard to put himself in this position, and we are delighted to have him commit until the end of 2029.
“We are looking forward to seeing him continue to improve his game and helping us to keep moving forward.”
Miller, 26, was set to be eligible for free agency at the conclusion of next season. The fresh contract instead locks him into entering an 11th and 12th season at the Club.
