Gabby Seymour, Mackenzie Ford

Richmond has selected its final match simulation squad that will take on Hawthorn this Sunday in Dingley, on the eve of the 2026 AFLW season.

It's the Tigers' last chance to put their pre-season work into action before their Round 1 blockbuster clash against Collingwood on Saturday 15 August at IKON Park.

The game will consist of four 15-minute quarters, with the squad selected to play over the allocated periods at the Kennedy Community Centre. There are no bench rotation limits.

Co-captain Ellie McKenzie and vice-captain Monique Conti will miss the match simulation, as the pair take to North Sydney Oval, suiting up for Australia against Ireland on Saturday from 4.15pm (AEST).

2025 draftees Olivia Wolmarans, Baia Pugh and Fina Dethlefsen have all been named, while co-captain Gabby Seymour will also take to the field again.

It follows a strong 16-point win over Fremantle in Richmond's official AFLW practice match last weekend in Perth.

Sarah Hosking will not take part in the match simulation, as she continues to manage her loads heading into the campaign.

Richmond's home-and-away season kicks off in Round 1 against Collingwood on Saturday 15 August, from 5.05pm at IKON Park.
