Jack Ross continues to go from strength to strength this season.

The industrious Richmond midfielder is in the best form of his eight-year AFL career, racking up impressive statistical numbers and generating plenty of drive for the Tigers’ team.

He was excellent in Richmond’s narrow loss to Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night, finishing with a team-high and equal AFL career-high 29 disposals, equal team-high 11 contested possessions, four inside-50s, six clearances, five score involvements, three intercepts and 493 metres gained.

Ross, who turns 26 next month, is averaging a career-high 23.1 disposals this season, along with a career-high 10.3 contested possessions, 3.6 marks, a career-high 4.4 tackles, 3.6 inside-50s, career-high 4.1 clearances, career-high 5.3 score involvements, 2.8 intercepts and 292.2 metres gained across the 17 games he’s played.

Only four times in 2026 has he not had 20 disposals or more in a match, and one of those was when he was concussed during the first half of the Round 17 clash with Carlton at the MCG.

His form throughout the season has been a major positive for the Tigers.
