Richmond has named its first team of the 2026 AFLW season, who will take on the Magpies this Saturday evening at IKON Park.
Excitingly, as announced on Thursday, Richmond fans will get to see two debutants, Olivia Wolmarans and Baia Pugh, take to the field in the Club's season opener.
Wolmarans was selected with pick No.1 in the 2025 AFLW Draft, hailing from Western Australia. The key forward has impressed in the pre-season with her aerial confidence and ability to cleanly bring the ball to ground and find the big sticks.
Pugh was nabbed with pick No.54 in the same Draft, and has stood out with her elite running ability in the lead up to the season.
Veteran and Tiger great Katie Brennan will reach the highly-anticipated 75th game milestone on Saturday, following a decorated career with the Bulldogs and now Richmond, where she has played since 2020.
New recruit Dana East has also been selected to make her Club debut, and will notch up her 50th AFLW game, after 49 of those with the Dockers.
The backline is made up of Rebecca Miller, co-captain Gabby Seymour, Charli Wicksteed, Isabel Bacon and Pugh.
Mackenzie Ford, Monique Conti and Libby Graham make up the centreline. Poppy Kelly takes the spot in the ruck, alongside followers Emelia Yassir and Sierra Grieves.
Brennan, Wolmarans, Caitlin Greiser, Laura McClelland and Montana Beruldsen complete the forward line.
The interchange is made up of Maddie Shevlin, East, Ally Dallaway, Aoibhin Cleary and Beth Lynch.
Fina Dethlefsen, Kate Dempsey and Georgia Stubs are the emergencies.
