Richmond dynamo Dustin Martin is embracing added responsibility within the Club’s playing group.

The 22-year-old, with 93 league games under his belt, has taken on more of a leadership role at Tigerland in 2014.

“I’m in my fifth year now, so it’s time for me to stand up and become more of a leader, which I’m slowly starting to do,” Martin told Tiger great Matthew Richardson in an exclusive ‘Roar Vision’ interview.

“There’s definitely more responsibility on myself and the other guys that have been here a while now.”

Martin, who finished runner-up in last year’s Jack Dyer Medal, feels there’s scope for considerable improvement in his game after this week’s bye.

“I think I’m just okay at the moment.  I definitely think I’ve got my best footy to play after the bye, so I’m definitely looking forward to attacking the second half of the season,” he said.
