Kids under 15 years of age will be admitted free for this Friday night’s match between Richmond and West Coast at the MCG, a game the Club has dedicated to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

To be eligible for the free kids’ tickets, fans can register via the Richmond website by 5pm on Thursday, June 18.  Register by clicking here

Richmond’s support of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation stretches back to 2012, when it became the Club’s preferred charity partner.

The Foundation cares for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence in the home, and runs programs that prevent violence against children including bullying and cyber bullying.

Last year, with the support of its members and fans, Richmond raised $80,000 for The Foundation.

The partnership will be brought to life at the MCG this Friday night with a special lighting ceremony to launch the Foundation’s Light Switch campaign.

Light Switch is a campaign which calls all Australians to reflect on the almost one million children who have lived with violence in their home.

The Tigers will wear a modified version of their clash strip on Friday night against the Eagles, which features the colour purple, which is synonymous with The Foundation’s work.

The match-worn guernseys will be signed and auctioned online, with all proceeds going to The Foundation.

The auction is live now, and closes at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 25.

Fans can also show their support by purchasing The Alannah and Madeline Foundation Richmond membership, which includes a range of benefits.  Click here to find out more
