Her leadership

"She's someone that really brings the group together, really connects the girls, wants the club and the time here to be fun and enjoyable. She also leads with her standards, the way she trains and her intensity on the track. She's a really great connector of our players and also our staff as well."

Level 2 Accredited Coach and AFLCA scholarship

"She spent time with the Richmond men's program last year, she worked really closely with Tim Livingston (General Manager – Football Performance), he was her mentor. She got to see how the Richmond AFL department do their work and what they do from a day-to-day basis. It gave her a really good insight into coaching and what it takes to be a coach at any level."

Foot surgery following the 2019 AFLW season, missing the VFLW season

"She's been fantastic, through her VFLW season last year in 2019 she was always around the club working on her coaching, working with a few of the girls and up skilling them. With her recovery, it took her a long time to get it right due to the type of injury it was. But the way she's gone about it, they way she's back into full training now, we're really proud on how she's done and she's set the example and the standards for that."

Her key attributes

"We love her speed, her smarts and her skills, they're three things she's really strong at. We love how she works up the ground, we love how she gives our backs a bit of a chop out at times and works through the middle of the ground with our midfielders. She's really damaging in front of goal and making the defenders defend her."

Her experience - 23 AFLW games

"Her and 'Sabs' (Sabrina Frederick) make up 50% of our games played. So, she's got a lot of experience, first with Collingwood then GWS. We're really lucky to have her now."
