Coburg’s inspirational ‘Captain Courageous’, Nick Carnell, has been reappointed the club’s skipper for the 2012 season.

It will be Carnell’s fourth consecutive season as captain of Richmond’s VFL affiliate.
The 24-year-old, who celebrated his 100th VFL game late last season, has earned a glowing reputation for his excellent work ethic, determination, bravery and team-first approach.

Former Richmond rookie-list player, Pat Contin, has joined Coburg following his AFL delisting at the end of last year and has been included in the club’s playing leadership group.
