The Richmond Football Club and Latitude Financial are delighted to announce a new long-term major partnership starting with the 2021 AFL season.

Latitude is Australia’s leading provider of interest free shopping and consumer finance, with more than 2.7 million customer accounts and 4000 retail partners, including iconic brands such as Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Apple and Samsung.

The sponsorship will start with the Latitude Financial logo proudly featured on the Richmond AFL match-day shorts as well as training gear and official club apparel.

The brand will also have a match-day presence in Richmond’s change rooms, while Latitude will connect with the Tiger Army through new digital and content initiatives and provide exclusive offers to Richmond members.

Importantly, Latitude will support various membership programs and initiatives as part of Richmond’s push to achieve 100,000+ members for the fourth consecutive year in season 2021.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale was delighted with the new partnership.

“I’d like to extend a warm welcome to the team at Latitude Financial. It’s an exciting time to introduce a new partner to the Richmond Football Club as we embark on the 2021 AFL season,” he said.

“Like Richmond, Latitude has strong and bold plans for the future and we anticipate a partnership which can create positive experiences for not only Latitude but for our members and supporters.

“We are looking forward to working with Latitude and watching our AFL players run out for Round 1 proudly representing their brand.”

Latitude Financial Managing Director and CEO Ahmed Fahour welcomed the partnership. “We have long admired the values, community leadership and success both on and off the field achieved by the Richmond Football Club,” he said.

“The alignment of Latitude, Australia’s leading provider of interest free shopping, and Richmond, Australia’s most successful sporting club of the past few years, is a fantastic fit. We are also very excited to be joining the enormous Tiger army and supporting Richmond’s push for a fourth successive year of 100,000+ members, at the same time as we enter the next phase of growth at Latitude.”
