Simon is Chief Operating Officer of the Richmond Football Club where he has worked for the past 16 years. Prior to that he was a journalist with the Geelong Advertiser before spending 11 years as a member of senior management at the Essendon Football Club in various roles.

Simon has developed industry-leading community, communications and fan engagement strategies, driving revenue and brand outcomes. He has a Bachelor Applied Science (Biotechnology), RMIT and Graduate Diploma of Education (Melbourne University).
