Important defender Nathan Broad is set to return from his four-match suspension to face the Suns.

Ruck Ivan Soldo is in line to play his first senior game of the 2023 season after recovering from plantar fasciitis, a big boost for the Tigers in the absence of injured co-captain and ruck Toby Nankervis.

Midfielder Jack Ross is a chance to be recalled after a dazzling performance in the VFL last weekend, recording 31 disposals, 10 marks, eight inside-50s, six tackles and two goals.

Tiger cub Tyler Sonsie has also been named in the 26-man squad, as well as the yet-to-debut Jacob Bauer, Richmond's selection in last year's mid-season draft.

The inclusions replace Dion Prestia, who will miss the match with general soreness, and Maurice Rioli, who injured his hamstring against Melbourne on Monday night.

Richmond will confirm its Round 7 team on Friday night at 5.00pm AEST.

The Club will then name its substitute 60 minutes prior to the first bounce on Sunday.

Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, FOX FOOTY and Kayo Sports.
