Veteran defender Nathan Broad has been handed the captaincy for Dreamtime at the 'G.
The honour comes following skipper Toby Nankervis being managed off the five day break for Friday night's clash against Essendon.
Broad, who is a three-time premiership player in the Yellow and Black, is bestowed the honour for the first time in his 158-game career.
He will lead out the side which is headlined by three inclusions in Samson Ryan, Maurice Rioli and Campbell Gray.
The 32-year-old is part of the broader 2025 leadership group, alongside Tom Lynch, Jayden Short and Tim Taranto.
The key defender is also the most recent recipient of Richmond's Yiooken Award, which is given to the men's player that best embodies the Club’s culture and purpose of Belonging, Thriving and Winning.
