Richmond forward Steely Green has been handed a fine by the MRO, after an incident during the second quarter of Sunday's match against the Western Bulldogs.

Green was charged with striking (first offence) against Bulldogs defender Rory Lobb during the second term at Marvel Stadium. The incident was graded as careless, low impact and high contact.

He has been offered a $3,000 fine, which can be reduced to $2,000 if he accepts an early plea.

There were no other charges laid during the game.

Richmond now look ahead to its clash against Adelaide at the MCG this Sunday.
