Coming off their win against Essendon, the Tigers have travelled to Perth to face the Eagles on Saturday night at Optus Stadium.
The two teams have already squared off once this year, with Richmond narrowly defeating West Coast by two points in Round 9.
West Australian native, and in-form key defender, Ben Miller, is hoping his side can make it two wins in a row this weekend, with the Tigers not overlooking the Eagles.
“We respect every opponent, every week,” Miller told SEN.
“I mean West Coast are 18th and we are 17th, but it is no different to how we versed Essendon last week.
“Every team is going to go out there to try and give a four-quarter effort, it’s just how long we can hold on for and how long we can win that arm wrestle for, and hopefully we can get over them in the end.”
Richmond midfielder, Jack Ross, spoke on RSN and explained how excited the group were to travel together again, having not done so since Round 13.
“I think we travel really well, we enjoy getting away together,” Ross said.
“Whenever we do that, it is always good fun, and the Club is letting us go over there a day early to adapt to the time difference.
“We will get together for a team dinner and try and spend as much time around each other as possible.
“A few boys have family back there as well, which is always nice for them to get to see their family and everything like that.”
With Miller returning to his home state, he is expecting to see a portion of Optus Stadium taken up by his family and friends in support.
“Most people come along, I think I got 21 tickets this week for just the immediate family," Miller said.
“A couple of aunties and uncles, mum and dad, so it is good to have their support.
“They manage to make it to every game when I’m in Perth, and it will be good to see them.”
Miller is also poised with the task of shutting down West Coast’s forward line, and he is confident Richmond's back six are up to the challenge.
“I think the Williams’ (Jack and Bailey) are both big and good players, and I think (Jobe) Shanahan is one of their other key forwards,” Miller said.
“We will have a meeting as a backline group and as a team, and we will go through matchups.”
