Richmond VFL is delighted to confirm the recommitment of five key Tigers for 2026.

Nick Collier, Josh Pollocks, Tom McKenzie, Liam George and Mohammed Yassine have all put pen to paper, ready to go around for another season.

The handful of returning Tigers will bolster the young outfit in 2026.

NICK COLLIER

The 21-year-old was a prominent feature for the Tigers this season, playing 20 games, including finals, in a breakout year for the youngster.

In his second season for Richmond, Collier was utilised across the ground, swinging back and forward, as well as spending time through the midfield when required.

His relentless running and fitness shone brightly this season, collecting 21 disposals against Brisbane in Round 3, then 17 touches and six tackles against the same opposition in the Elimination Final.

A key pillar to building the VFL program's success, Collier is a puzzle piece that will fit perfectly in 2026.

TOM McKENZIE

The 25-year-old was a solid contributor in his first year with the VFL side, plying his trade across the half back and wing.

With 14 games under his belt after season one in the yellow and black, McKenzie remained a committed and consistent contributor from the get go.

On Richmond debut, he notched up an impressive 23 disposals, nabbing another 20 in Round 3, and 20 again against GWS in Round 10.

McKenzie will make up a vital part of a young Tigers outfit, continuing his leadership growth and potential in 2026.

LIAM GEORGE

George had yet another successful campaign in 2025, taking on a role in the leadership team at just 20-years-old.

He played 18 games in his second season for Richmond, including the Club's Wildcard and Elimination Finals, where he continued to grow his leadership on field.

He starred in Round 13 against the Bulldogs, when he collected 23 disposals.

The half forward/winger brought the energy on and off field, leading a very young Richmond outfit, and earning his full season in the yellow and black, with expectations that he will continue to grow next year.

MOHAMMED YASSINE

The energetic small forward achieved another personally successful season, in his fourth with Richmond's VFL program.

Yassine played 17 matches this season and kicked 19 goals, including a season-best three majors against GWS in the Club's successful Wildcard Final.

The 22-year-old spread his time across the wing and forward line, and continued to improve his goal sense as the season progressed.

Although one of the younger players of the VFL program, Yassine has been able to command the attention of the forward line, commended for his leadership that will carry into 2026.

JOSH POLLOCKS

In his second season for Richmond, Pollocks was able to provide stability in defence, but really made his mark in the forward line.

The 22-year-old, who has completed his second year in the program, managed to boot nine goals in just five appearances this year.

His versatility in front of goal was required in the second-half of the season, with the 187cm forward able to stand tall in a relatively young group.

Strong in the air, Pollocks will be a crucial addition to the 2026 squad as the hunt for more Finals success continues.
