Two major goalkicking milestones are impending for dual Richmond premiership star key forward Tom Lynch in season 2026.
Lynch is 16 goals away from becoming just the 15th player in Tigerland history to reach the 250-goal milestone.
He has kicked 234 goals in 105 games for Richmond since joining the Club as a restricted free agent in October 2018 from Gold Coast.
The dual Michael Roach Medallist (63 goals in 2019, 63 goals in 2022) and Jack Dyer Medallist (2022) scored 26 goals in 16 games last season to move past Brendon Gale, Chris Naish, Paddy Guinane, George Bayliss, Billy Wilson and Neil Balme on the Tigers’ all-time goalkicking list.
And Lynch, who booted 254 goals in his 131-game career the Suns, is only 12 goals from becoming the 66th player in League football history to achieve the 500-goal milestone.
The 33-year-old also has kicked more goals for Richmond than any other player recruited from a rival League club.
He is 91 goals ahead of Nathan Brown, who kicked 143 goals in 82 games with the Tigers following his transfer from the Western Bulldogs at the end of the 2003 season.
There are just two other players who registered 100-plus goals at Richmond after arriving from rival League clubs – Barry Rowlings (ex-Hawthorn) 117 goals (152 games) and Ricky McLean (ex-Carlton) 103 goals (39 games).
The all-time Tiger top 15 goalkickers are:
1. Jack Titus 970 goals (294 games)
