In the absence of Tigers Captain Toby Nankervis, a ruck position has become readily available, presenting a prime opportunity for another tall to step up.
Speaking to the media at the Club’s main training session, Coach Adem Yze confirmed that Oliver Hayes-Brown is in the mix, alongside several other key-position options, to take the first ball up at Optus Stadium this Saturday.
“He (Hayes-Brown) will be in the mix when we talk through that, as I said, we've got training, there are a couple of different models that we could look at,” Yze said.
“We could fill it with different people that have done it. Campbell Gray helped us out in the ruck in the last few weeks and then obviously went down and played down back on the weekend at VFL level.
“Samson Ryan's coming back and playing some footy this weekend, but it won't be at AFL level, so we'll have those discussions later this afternoon and work out the best fit, but he'll be in those discussions for sure, for sure.”
Tune back into the Club’s socials and website from 6:20pm AEDT for the full team selection ahead of Saturday's clash with Fremantle.
