Despite Richmond’s recent string of injury blows, Adem Yze is confident that the next man up will make the most of their opportunities.
With young forwards Harry Armstrong, Jasper Alger and Rhyan Mansell all set to spend time on the sidelines, an opportunity could open up for draftee Zane Peucker, who impressed in the VFL with a three-goal performance over the weekend.
Yze believes Peucker, along with all of the Tigers' options, will step up to the plate with confidence if called upon.

“It’s going to be lose a soldier, replace a soldier mentality,” Yze told the media on Wednesday.
“We have to cover for Harry and Jasper, so someone is going to get an opportunity. He (Peucker) is in really good VFL form, so he is knocking on the door.
“That is the silver lining that might come out of the injury crisis that we are going through right now.
“So whether he (Peucker) is throwing his hand up each week and whether we go down that path this week or it’s in the future, some of our younger players who are playing well in the VFL will get an opportunity."
Despite a forced change in personnel, Yze backs in his group to execute their system and not shy away from playing a fast brand of football.
“We have sort of had to chop and change and deal with that a different way,” Yze said when addressing the changes in the line-up.
“We know our system, and we want to play the same way. We aren’t going to play any slower and defend with the ball. We want to still play fast and still want to score.
“We will have selection later today, but whether they are new faces or whether they are players who have played a handful of games, someone is going to get an opportunity, and we expect them to come in and play the right way.”
Richmond will look to claim its first win of the season this Saturday against Port Adelaide at the MCG from 4:15pm.
Keep an eye out on Richmond’s website and social media channeles from 6:20pm this Thursday for the full team selection.
