Jack Ross continues to go from strength to strength in season 2026.
The 25-year-old, who reached the AFL 100-game milestone in the Round 7 Anzac Day Eve clash with Melbourne, has become an integral part of Richmond’s midfield.
A week after racking up an AFL career-high 29 disposals against West Coast at Optus Stadium, Ross backed that up in impressive style with his Round 9 display against Adelaide at the MCG.
He finished the contest with 26 disposals, 10 contested possessions, five marks, four inside-50s, three clearances, five score involvements, three intercepts, a team-high six tackles and 341 metres gained.
It was the fourth consecutive match that Ross had accumulated 25 disposals or more, highlighting his consistency of performance throughout this season thus far.
After nine rounds, Ross is averaging an AFL career-high 23.6 disposals, 3.9 marks, 3.6 inside-50s, a career-high 4.9 clearances, career-high 2.1 centre clearances, career-high 2.8 stoppage clearances, an equal career-high 3.2 intercepts and 286.2 metres gained.
Among the Richmond playing group, he is ranked No. 1 for disposals, equal No. 1 for clearances, equal No. 1 for inside-50s, No. 1 for stoppage clearances, No. 2 for centre clearances, No. 3 for score involvements and No. 3 for metres gained.
