Going into his third season, Jack Graham could become a vitally important player in Richmond's midfield.

The 21-year-old has a defensive mindset that some of his teammates don't.

With Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin and co. hunting the ball, Graham's natural instincts would be rated highly.

In Richmond’s JLT Community Series clash with Hawthorn at Launceston last Saturday night, Graham had five tackles during the third term and eight for the game.

He finished with 20 disposals as a key contributor in the Tigers’ exciting fightback win and showed no signs of the shoulder injury that required surgery after the 2018 season.

Graham has played 23 senior games for Richmond since being drafted by the Club with its second pick (No. 53 overall) in the 2016 AFL national draft.

Recruited from SANFL club North Adelaide, Graham was a revelation for the Tigers in their drought-breaking 2017 Grand Final triumph over Adelaide, kicking a game-high three goals and curbing the effectiveness of Crows midfield star Rory Sloane after being moved on to him.
