Richmond has named its team for Saturday morning's VFL clash against Box Hill at Box Hill City Oval.

Excitingly, the line-up includes three debutants in Caleb Nancarrow, James Milner and Kai Stewart.

Standing at 191cm tall, Nancarrow joined the Club from the Oakleigh Chargers, showing talent in front of goal and aerially.

Another forward on debut is Stewart, who also joined Richmond after his time with Oakleigh in the Talent League. Stewart won the Club’s best forward award after kicking an array of goals for the Charges in 2025, and is known for his poise, silky ball movement and creativity as a small forward.

Milner impressed for Richmond in its practice match against Coburg earlier this year, and now he is set to play a role in Round 8.

A Queensland product, Milner came through the Brisbane Lions Academy program, before relocating to Victoria to play for Oakleigh.

The three debutants are joined by Sean Lai, Sam Phillips, Josh Pollocks and Austin Johnson as inclusions.

Coming out of the team is Noah Roberts-Thomson (AFL), Liam Fawcett (AFL), Samson Ryan (AFL emergency), and injured quartet Zane Greenham, Sam Philp, Tom Ferguson and Ned Renfree.

The backline is made up of Pollocks, vice-captain Mutaz El Nour, debutant Nancarrow, Aaron Sharkie, skipper Lachlan Street and Kane Loftus.

Lai makes up the centreline, alongside Harry Scott and Phillips. Zaydyn Lockwood takes his spot in the ruck, with vice-captain Joel Garner and Nick Collier named as the followers.

Mohammed Yassine, Liam George, Olli Hotton, Ry Cantwell, Sam Toner and Dan Lowther make up the forward line.

On the interchange is Tom McKenzie, Leo Connolly, Stewart, Johnson and Milner.

The emergencies are JayDe Varlet and Kai Daniels.

The Round 8 clash is set for 10:00am (AEST) this Saturday, with the game to be broadcast on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports, or live streamed on the AFL website.
