Jasper Alger

Three Richmond players have been handed fines after a melee at the end of the first quarter against Carlton on Saturday night.

Small forward Jasper Alger was charged with instigating a melee/wrestle (first offence) at the MCG.

Fellow forwards Rhyan Mansell and Seth Campbell were then handed down charges of engaging in a melee/wrestle in the same first quarter incident.

All three players have been handed a $1,500 fine, which can be reduced to $1,000 with an early plea.

Richmond takes on Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday from 3.15pm (AEST).
