Tyler Sonsie (31 disposals, 4 clearances, 2 tackles)
"It was a really good game by Sonsie as an inside midfielder. His spread from contest was really good and he was clean. He was tagged in the last quarter because he was having some real impact."

Samson Ryan (17 hit-outs, 13 disposals, 3 clearances, 1 goal)
"He played as a forward and ruck. He was pretty good in the air for most of the day. We'd love to see him be stronger in the last quarters of games to help us gain some territory. I thought his ruck craft was really good."

Luke Trainor (20 disposals, 5 marks, 1 clearance)
"First game back following his concussion, so it took him a quarter to get into the game. He had a really solid final three quarters and showed us his strengths. His intercepts and contested marks were strong."

Judson Clarke (16 disposals, 6 marks, 1 clearance)
"He ran his wing patterns well and we saw his intent. We are definitely seeing Judson get back to his best form, and this game was another step forward towards that."

Zane Peucker (3 goals, 18 disposals, 2 marks)
"He was our leading goalkicker with three. His contested work and his one-on-one work was outstanding. We will work on his movement up and down the ground as a high forward, because his craft and finishing is a real stand out."

Jasper Alger (1 goal, 7 disposals, 1 tackle)

Oliver Hayes-Brown (11 hit-outs, 10 disposals, 4 tackles)
"He played ruck and forward. His soreness restricted his usual ruck dominance, but he was better for the run. He is also learning and improving his forward craft."

Liam Fawcett (1 goal, 7 disposals, 4 marks)
"We couldn't connect him with our forwards. We'd love to see him control what he can control, and get up the ground to help defence. We want to help him take his chances when they present themselves."

Harry Armstrong (9 disposals, 3 marks)

"His pressure was really good on the day. I know the opposition panic when he's in the area chasing. His intent was good and he's better for the run, running his patterns well. We look forward to seeing his growth when he has the ball in hand."

"Similar to our other small forwards, he struggled to get involved in the offence as much as we know he can. He ran his patterns well. We look forward to helping him learn to take opportunities when they present."

"It was his second time playing on Box Hill's Brodie McLaughlin, who's been held to one goal three times this season. Twice have been by Mutaz. His balance of defence was solid. He had nine spoils, which was impressive. It wasn't a massive intercept game, but he locked his opponent away."

"Leo got injured in the last quarter. His ball use and his run-and-carry was strong on the day. It resulted in some nice inside-50 kicks."

Olli Hotton (31 disposals, 5 clearances, 4 marks)
"I thought he worked hard both ways. I saw an improvement in his defensive transition. His stoppage work was good and he drove his legs through the contest."

Harry Scott (19 disposals, 5 marks, 3 tackles)
"Another step forward for his game down back. His versatility between talls and smalls is really impressive. We are working on his defensive craft, but he was solid down back."

Zach O'Keefe (26 disposals, 8 marks, 10 intercept possessions)
"Outstanding performance for his second game of VFL. He took 10 intercept possessions, with six intercept marks. When he plays with confidence, he is a really good player. I'd love to see him back himself with ball in hand."
