Young key forward Harry Armstrong has further committed to Richmond, signing a fresh two-year extension with the Club.
Armstrong, who was already contracted for the 2027 season, is now tied to Richmond until at least the end of 2029.
Selected with Pick No. 23 overall at the 2024 AFL National Draft, Armstrong has played 12 games across his opening two years at the Club, with hamstring and foot injuries restricting his availability.
Armstrong quickly impressed at AFL level, booting multiple goals twice in the opening five rounds of 2025.
The left-footer has displayed excellent forward craft and an ability to cover the ground and beat his opponent while pushing back towards goal across his first two seasons.
Richmond will hope Armstrong can develop a strong partnership with fellow key forward Jonty Faull, who has also re-signed through to 2029.
The pair have shared an AFL field just three times across their first two seasons at the Club due to their respective injury interruptions.
“It was great to see Harry back playing at AFL level last weekend, which was a reward for the diligent work he put into his rehab,” Hartley said.
“Harry works so hard behind the scenes, and he deserves the opportunity to showcase his talents across the next three years.
“He is an important part of our future, and we have great faith in what he can achieve moving forward.
“We are excited to see a lot more of Harry next year and beyond.”
