Following consultation with the Club’s medical staff, Richmond can provide the following update for Round 7 of the AFLW season.

Poppy Kelly: Concussion, 1 week 

During our game against the Giants, Kelly suffered a concussion in a contest late in the game.

She was assessed by our medical staff and has now entered the routine concussion protocols. Kelly is expected to be available for selection in Round 8.

Monique Conti: Achilles, 2-4 weeks

Conti has returned to running in the late stages of last week. However, she is still a day-by-day prospect.

As we have said, we are very conscious of the nature of Achilles injuries and, because of this, will continue to monitor her progress closely and carefully.

We hope to have her available for the mid-to-late rounds, and Conti is working diligently toward that, but at the same time we will not take any unnecessary risks.
