Richmond’s VWFL Best and Fairests for 2026 have been crowned, with Nathan Graetz winning the Championship Best and Fairest, and Bianca Meo winning the Community Best and Fairest. 

Graetz joined the Tigers this season and made an immediate impact, playing a starring role in the Championship team that finished first on the ladder with a 6-2 record in the home-and-away season. 

In the Community division, Meo had a stunning debut campaign, helping the Tigers reach the Grand Final. The 19-year-old discovered Richmond’s VWFL team through a come-and-try day, and has since quickly established herself as a key player in the starting five. 

Graetz and Meo both played with tremendous heart, effort and commitment throughout the campaign and contributed strongly to the culture of Richmond’s VWFL teams, both on and off the court. 

"We are so excited to see Nathan and Bianca acknowledged for their debut seasons," Richmond's Sustainability & Inclusion Lead, Gabrielle McKeown, said.

"Both players started at the Club this year, and neither of them had played football before. I am really proud of their efforts and can't wait to see them both shine again in 2027." 

Both players were acknowledged for their achievements at Richmond’s Jack Dyer Medal night on Tuesday.
