With the official 2010 AFL fixture to be released later this week, Richmond CEO Brendon Gale gives Tiger fans an indication of where the club stands in relation to the draw, and playing matches at the MCG.

“Over the past few weeks there has been quite a bit of speculation regarding the fixture for next season, including the prospect of four home games at Etihad Stadium,” Gale said.

“The fixture has not been finalised as yet, but rest assured our club has been lobbying the AFL to get the best possible outcomes for our members.”

“We are fully aware of the historical and emotional ties our supporters have with the MCG and the significance it holds for the Richmond Football Club.”

“To this end, we will be pressing for as many of our home games to be played at the ‘G as possible.”

The 2010 fixture will be released on Friday October 30.
