Tenacious midfielder Anthony Miles was Richmond’s leading vote-getter in the AFL Coaches Association’s Player of the Year award for Round 13, in just his second senior game with the Tigers.

Miles received six votes for his excellent performance against Fremantle at the MCG last Saturday, where he picked up 30 disposals, including 15 contested possessions, 10 clearances and six inside-50s.

Three other Tigers polled votes on the day – Ricky Petterd (two), Nathan Foley (one) and Dustin Martin (one).

Fremantle’s Hayden Ballantyne and Nathan Fyfe were awarded the most votes by respective coaches Damien Hardwick and Ross Lyon, with the pair given nine apiece.
