Ben Cousins, Tyrone Vickery, Adam Thomson and Alex Rance have been named in the 29-man squad to play their first games for Richmond this week.

The Tigers take on Collingwood in round two of the NAB Cup on Thursday at 7.10pm at Telstra Dome.

Vickery’s first appearance in Richmond colours comes shortly after being selected by the Club with its first pick in the 2008 National Draft.

Rance, a promising key defender, was selected Richmond in the draft a year previous, and was close to breaking into the senior line-up on several occasions in last year’s regular season.

Thomson was snared by the Club in the 2008 Trade Week period in exchange for pick 42, after playing 28 games for Port Adelaide.

Cousins has returned to full fitness after missing a portion of the pre-season, and will make his highly-anticipated debut in a Tigers’ jumper.

Richmond has named a strong squad for the Collingwood clash, with only Trent Cotchin, Mark Coughlan, Adam Pattison, Graham Polak and Kayne Pettifer unavailable through injury.
