The tenacious small forward was a solid contributor throughout 2021.

Aarts featured 20 times (plus once as the unused medical sub), adding to the 14 games he played in 2020.

He kicked 18 goals, ranked fifth at the club, and picked up a career-high 18 touches in the Dreamtime win over Essendon in round 12.
