The crafty goalkicker was a victim of the Tigers’ new-look forward line, which placed a premium on pressure and speed. He played in round one and broke in for seven games mid-season, but was otherwise overlooked despite producing magnifient VFL form, racking up 48 possessions and kicking 4.5 in one match.
