Richmond Tiger’s captain, Katie Brennan.

Katie played in the inaugural season of AFLW as a marquee signing and captain of the Western Bulldogs. She led the Bulldogs to the 2017 Grand Final, kicked fifteen goals in thirteen games and was the leading goal kicker in 2019 despite an injury riddled time with the club.

Brennan signed with the Richmond Football Club at the end of 2019 season. The signing was historic as she was the first player to sign with the Richmond Football Club women’s team and was the first AFLW player to sign a two-year contract with a club.

Brennan was named as centre half forward in the All-Australian team in consecutive years (2021 and 2022) and taking out the Richmond leading goal kicking in both years and runner up in the best and fairest in 2021. She is a leader who is passionate about the growth and development of the young Richmond group.

Brennan is also passionate about health & wellness. She looks to inspire young women to be the happiest and healthiest version of themselves after struggling with her own mental health as a teenager. She runs corporate health and wellness programs alongside her new property venture, Six Sensory South, that empowers wellness and human performance through sensory and biophilic design.
