Richmond’s fifth and final pick in the 2021 AFL national draft, silky-skilled, lightning fast, left-foot small forward/midfielder, Judson Clarke, will be groomed as a replacement down the track for a triple Tiger premiership star.

The Club’s national recruiting manager Matt Clarke outlined the plan for the talented teenager on the special post-draft episode of the Talking Tigers podcast.

“We see him in Kane Lambert’s role long term,” Clarke said.

“He’s that linking-up, high-forward/midfield player who can run and use the ball pretty well.

“He’s quick. He’s got really fast feet . . . really good laterally to get in and out.

“I think “Lambo” (Kane Lambert) can teach him a lot of things about how to actually run those patterns.

“We’re really excited about him.”
