Richmond has announced changes to its playing list after the completion of its 2014 campaign.

Seven players have not been offered contracts for the 2015 season, including senior listed players Aaron Edwards, Brett O’Hanlon and Brad Helbig, and rookies Orren Stephenson, Ben Darrou, Cadeyn Williams and Todd Banfield.

They join Daniel Jackson and Jake King, who retired during the season, as departures from Richmond.

Edwards played 12 games for the Tigers over two seasons, taking his career tally to 94, after stints with West Coast and North Melbourne.

Helbig played a total of 16 games over three seasons, while O’Hanlon represented the Club nine times.

Stephenson started both of his seasons at Tigerland as a rookie, but was elevated to the senior list on each occasion and finished with seven senior games in the Yellow and Black, after eight matches for Geelong in 2012.

Darrou, Williams and Banfield (53 games for Brisbane) failed to play a senior match for the Club.

“We’d like to thank all of these players for their hard work during their time at the Richmond Football Club,” said Richmond General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.

“They have each made their own contribution to the Club, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
