Richmond triple premiership star key forward Jack Riewoldt surpassed two Tiger ‘Immortals’ on a couple of key football lists in yesterday’s match against Hawthorn at the MCG.

It was Riewoldt’s 312th appearance with the Tigers, moving him ahead of Jack Dyer and into outright second place on Richmond’s all-time games’ list. Only Kevin Bartlett (403) has played more games for the Tigers than Riewoldt.

Bartlett, however, has now been headed by Riewoldt on another list – the most goals at the MCG.

Riewoldt’s valuable three-goal return in Richmond’s 23-point victory over the Hawks took him past Bartlett (379), as well as former North Melbourne superstar Wayne Carey (380), and into fourth place on that list.

He has kicked a total of 382 goals at the MCG, with only Melbourne’s David Neitz 386, Essendon’s Matthew Lloyd 461, and Tigers great Matthew Richardson 464, ahead of him.

Overall, Riewoldt is in 18th place on the competition’s all-time goalkicking list with 731 goals, and he’s third on Richmond’s goalkicking list behind Bartlett 778, Richardson 800 and Jack Titus 970.
