Richmond VFL has made six changes for its trip north to face Southport on Saturday at Fankhauser Reserve. 

Rhyan Mansell comes into the line-up after serving his three-match AFL suspension, while Judson Clarke, who didn't play at either level last week as an AFL carryover emergency, has also been named.

VFL Tigers Austin Johnson and Brad Melville, who were managed last week, will also return to the side.

They'll be joined by Tom Brindley and Mohammed Yassine, who have been recalled for the clash with the Sharks.  

Out of last week's side that went down to Sydney by 21 points are Ivan Soldo, Samson Ryan, Hugo Ralphsmith, Joel Nathan, Harry Broderick and Misilifi Faimalo.

Nathan and Faimalo have been named as emergencies, alongside Archie May. 

The VFL Tigers currently sit in 10th place on the ladder, while Southport are in 14th, both sides coming into the clash off the back of losses.
