The VFL and VFLW Tigers will both be challenged against the reigning premiers this Sunday in a double header at Box Hill City Oval.

Kick-starting the day will be the VFLW Tigers when they face Hawthorn at 11.30am. Richmond VFL will then meet the Box Hill Hawks at 2.00pm.

CROWD Guess the Crowd for our Round 18 match with Port Adelaide and go into the draw to win

The third-placed VFLW Tigers will be looking to bounce back from two straight losses, while the VFLW Hawks, who sit in eighth spot, will likewise be aiming to get back on the winners’ list after a draw last weekend.

In an exciting inclusion to the Tigers’ line-up, AFLW signing Alice Edmonds will return for her first game since Round 5 to give Richmond’s ruck stocks a boost.

Fellow AFLW-listed Tiger Courtney Wakefield will also return to the forward line after a three-week layoff.

Richmond will also unveil a debutant in Madeline Edwards.

Millie Klingbeil, Alana Woodward, Justine Hocking, Dahlia Edward and Shayla Marsh round out the inclusions for the Hawks clash.

They replace Tayla Stahl, Emma Gunn, Emily Paterno and Hannah McLaren.

The VFL Tigers and the Box Hill Hawks, who currently sit in second and fifth respectively, both come into their Round 16 clash off the back of a win.

Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis is set to make his long-awaited return through the VFL following nine weeks sidelined.

The VFL Tigers will also be bolstered by the inclusions of Kamdyn McIntosh and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, who have both been omitted from this week’s senior side.

McIntosh will play his first VFL match since Round 15, 2018, while Eggmolesse-Smith returns for his 12th VFL appearance of 2019.

Exciting utility Noah Balta also comes back into the side after missing last week with a quad complaint.

Rounding out the inclusions are James Fletcher and Luke Nelson.

The VFL Tigers will be without Liam Baker, who has been elevated to the senior side, Jack Higgins and Jacob Ballard.
